FIRST WEDNESDAYS RAPSON ROOM 225

Greenlight will be holding meetings the first Wednesday of every month in Rapson Hall room 225. We welcome anyone who's interested to join in. We are looking for involvment at many levels, so whether you'd like to take a leadership role, help do leg work for one of our initiatives, or participate in our spring design charette, there is an opportunity for you to make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Opportunity -- with PERKS!

E3 2009: The Midwest's Premier Energy, Economics and Environment Conference

What: (www.iree.umn.edu/e3) E3 2009 will focus on the intersection between innovative technologies, visionary policies, environmental benefits, and emerging market opportunities as they relate to developments in the renewable energy sector. Renewable energy and environmental researchers, students, government officials, non-profit and business/industry leaders will join together to share knowledge and discoveries through keynote addresses, breakout sessions, research posters, and exhibition booths.

Where: St. Paul RiverCenter (free transport from the St. Paul Student Center and Coffman Union)

When: Tuesday, November 17. Two hour shifts are available from 7:30-9am, 9:30-11:30am, 12:30-2:30pm and 2:30-4:30pm.

Responsibilities: Varied...assisting with set-up/tear down, working at check-in/info desk, monitoring AV needs, etc.

PERKS: Free entrance to conference, complimentary breakfast and lunch, networking, resume builder.
